
On May 13, paraathlete, motivational speaker and author of his own philosophy “If you believe, then you can” Dmitry Cheshev met with students of the Moscow State University for the Humanities and Economics.
The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere and was informal.
The young athlete shared his life experience and acquired professional skills with the guys.

“I saw from my own experience how important self-confidence is for achieving goals and developed a concept of simple steps that will help everyone develop self-confidence,” said Dmitry.
Today’s motivational coach has a difficult fate. By the will of an accident, Dmitry received a serious injury, which turned out to be incompatible with the continuation of his usual way of life.
At that time, a successful social activist and athlete, an active young man who had many brilliant prospects ahead of him, had to choose: either lose interest in life or discover new opportunities.

“A wheelchair is not a sentence. The support of loved ones, friends, and of course, your own desire to live a full life, despite the restrictions on movement, are important, ”Dmitry shares.
He told the students how he found the strength to lead an active lifestyle further. Now he is diving, loves sailing, traveling, blogging, organizing motivational meetings and trainings, taking part in various projects,
Already in a wheelchair, he traveled almost all of Russia – from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok.

“Blogging gives you unlimited opportunities to reveal yourself, your personality. Many prospects are opening up, the main thing is not to be afraid, ”Dmitry is sure.
“The blog gives great prospects for development. Even words can change your life and the lives of others. And blogging, visualization, allow you to create new projects and your business. For myself, my blog is an opportunity to meet people, speak at forums, conduct trainings for companies, participate in television and radio programs,” Dmitry Cheshev noted.

Moscow State University of Economics is not an ordinary university. This is an inclusive education university.
Therefore, they were especially interested in questions about how bloggers with disabilities are treated on the Internet and whether there are any features and advantages of them as authors.
Dmitry also shared a very interesting and useful experience of participating in the TopBlog project and other contests of the Russia – Land of Opportunity platform.
Concluding the meeting, the blogger invited students to register for the second season of the project and told them what needs to be done for this.
Following the event, the participants exchanged contacts and agreed to continue cooperation.
